Tour of Staple Up Radiant Heat
In the world of radiant heat, theres hydronic radiant heat (water in tubes) and electric radiant heat (electrical wire mats). In a retrofit situation, the electric radiant floor heat usually will give you floor warming capabilities but not really give off the heat (at least not at a low cost opporate).
This client had a staple up radiant heat installed for his two bathrooms. Watch the video to see why staple up is the least desirable of the hydronic radiant heat methods and why embedded tubing in concrete, mud, or at the bare minimum, installed with radiant aluminum extruded plates is a better alternative.
